Logic is a relatively underground rapper but he’s surfacing fast with his clever wordplay and fast paced flow. He’s got that true hip hop swag...
Local Artist Check: Miracle
You Have probally heard of this young and upcoming rapper who goes by the name of "Miracle" or "Miracle the boy wonder".
No hiltop hood, but hes' also no "Fake Yank" rapper either...Miracle is just.... real.
Ladies, this guy might not be one of the most attractive guys - but do we care? No. His lyricism is insane and flow is always on point. One of my favourite tracks of Logic's Young Sinatra mixtape. Get it here.
Brian Bradley AKA Astro has hit the US show X-Factor with a Bang. HIs first live show was a big hit, following on from his auditions. Even if this kid does not win, he has a bright future, especially with LA Reid by his side. His lyricism is on par with Veteran MCs - and he is only 14 years old.....shii, when I was 14 - I was still rhyming The "cat chased the rat under the mat".
As rhianna points out in one of his auditions below, he has a J. Cole Vibe. If you havn't seen his first audition, I think you should, the kid shows some major balls interrupting the judges. Check out the youngn from Brooklyn as he brakes it down to LA Reid and Rhianna (Verse 2 more specifically).
The promotional run for Wale's Ambition is in full effect. Here is the project's title track featuring Rick Ross and Meek Millz. This track is ill.

The Bristol based producer has provided us with ’nuff beats over the years – his unique wizardry is melodic, but also mad gully. But releasing a full album has its pressures. Check the stream here.
Now it’s time for the lead singles video featuring Jessie Ware & Freddie Gibbs.
Here are the new visuals from Comptons’ Buddy. Being 17 years old, signed to Pharrell’s ‘I Am Other’ label is a serious serious nod of approval. The track dropped a couple of weeks back and after it being featured on the How To Make It In America, Vol.2 mixtape its finally got the video treatment. A Neptunes produced certified banger. He is currently working on his debut project.
A Snapbacks and backpacks artist - one for the locals.

Born in Ghana, raised in Melbourne and now residing in Sydney. Samson Andah (Miracle) is now ready to take the world by storm.
As a kid, Miracle and his friends used to watch Rap and Hip-Hop music videos and tried to imitate their favourite rappers - where he created major viral fame from his school project video for "Better dayz". Now, Miracle is creating his own vibe in the new wave of hip-hop, Last year he performed at Urban Music festival SupaFest amongst acts such as Snoop Dogg, T-Pain and Nelly. He has now created more fame recording a new mixtape "Before we Meet" released earlier this year. Now Officially re-signing to Sony Music Australia - Miracle is ready to get to work.
I've never been so excited for a Aussie MC. Contrary to common belief, Australia does have some dope MCs with great lyricism - however most of these acts don't have the commercial essence to bring them out of the underground or across the seas. The ones that do, seem to be imitating the US rappers too much with their accent, metaphors and style. However with this new wave of hip-hop blowing over to Australia, Miracle is truly a 'Miracle'. His lyrics feel unforced - laidback, relavant and just 'real'. Not rapping about getting rich, rather rapping for the heck of it.
Just check out his video for "Koolin" if you don't believe me. Just kickin' it by the pool with mates just like a regular Aussie kid. Summer Jam.
Below is his new track "Top Bloke" where he says "Australia on his back and Africa on his chest" - carrying aus hip-hop while reprenting Africa. Hopefully accross the seas - but for now, Australia should get on his back. Iller.
Not Enough to get you on the Miracle train? - well check out his youtube channel.

New Drake. It isn’t terrible, it’s just not the “next level sh*t” I was expecting or wanting. Nicki comes good on the feature (as she do) tho. After first listen, It wasn't doing it for me, but after round 2 it was starting to grow...Slowly.
Thank Me Later was one of my favourite albums of last year and with Drake being a extremely good artist – I presumed he would be experimenting more, exploring new areas and new sounds like he did when he jumped on SBTRKT’s joint. Instead we may just be getting a "Thank me Now" AKA Thank me Later pt.2.Which wouldn't be so bad, however I think Drizzy fans are expecting more ammo from Take Care - out November 15th.
I'm so glad Ed SHeeren is getting the success he deserves (at least in the UK). If you hav'nt copped his debut album yet - do yourself a favour and grab a copy! Its a real Gem.
Anywho, here is a remix which features P, Money (UK Rapper - not to be confused with NZ' P.Money producer) ‘Lego House’ (Gosling Remix). Hope ED maintains his mind set that he is in and keeps releasing hits like this. This collab with P. Money highlights just how talented these guys are, so listen up folks.
Vol.2 in Snapbacks and Backpacks segment. Introducing Logic!
Logic has been on his grind lately releasing visuals, singles, and just overall fantastic music. If you didn’t already know, he’s recently signed to Visionary Music Group under the mentoring eye of soon-to-be household name Tayyib Ali. Last month he released his mixtape Young Sinatra, named for his alternate alias.
Logic is a relatively underground rapper but he’s surfacing fast with his clever wordplay and fast paced flow. He’s got that true hip hop swag, none of that frat rap shit (which I don’t mind from time to time). Logic is about to blow up with this new mixtape Young Sinatra, which consists of 22 songs including Interludes/Skits. It’s more of a free album than a mixtape. It includes some of the most ridiculous and insane sampling I have ever heard. You can stream and dl the full tape below courtesy of #VisionaryMusic.
Below are two of his videos which display this kids raw talent. Black, white, half-cast - whatever, you can not deny this guy's flow.
With all this Indie, hipster rap we have growing along side the young nuts staying true to Hip-Hop - the rookies of the Rap game are looking good despite the lockout.
You've seen em around, You've witnessed their swag, you've heard there rhymes - you know who they are. Artists like Wiz Khalifa, The Illz, Childish Gambino, Mac Miller, D-Pryde, Hoodie Allen - just to name a few. These guys (mostly from the eastcoast) are bringing a new vibe to the rap game and its dope, oh so dope.
Wiz went pop, and Mac is on his way to the charts - but hey we still love em. With these cats hitting the stream of rivers that is the main, it opens up opportunities for other young artists in similar situations.
So follow this segment to witness Alter-Hip-Soul's freshman class. Snapbacks and Backpacks.
New Single from Wale's second album, Ambition. "Lotus Flower Bomb" features R&B/Soul singer Miguel Jontel. The relaxed beat with the calming electronic keyboard notes and Miguels vocals makes this a track solid. Listen and Download below.
