You may have heard Emeli Sandé’s vocals featured on Wiley’s ‘Never Be Your Woman’(big fan of this) and Chipmunk’s ‘Diamond Rings’ (Not a fan at all) last year, but this British Soulstress can do more than just throw a hook. Inspired by artists such as Lauryn Hill, her own music is rich and diverse. Heaven, her debut single displays this along with her powerful voice.
Featuring a Trip-Hop beat and a band of lavish strings – Heaven reminds me of something strong from them good ol' 90s years.
Heaven is released on August 15th.
