Video: Common & Nas - Ghetto Dreams [Hip-Hop]

Never mind Hova and Yeezy....Common and Nas unveil the official video their collab single "Ghetto Dreams." Starting off with a snippet from the movie Boyz N Da Hood, The video depicts their street ambitions along with the beautiful Bria Myles as the star of the clip.

I was pumped when I heard this a couple of months back, and I would be over the moon if my fave two rappers, Common and Nas pulled a collab album - like those other two guys.
...But for the time being, we are waiting on Common‘s The Dreamer The Believer which drops in November. Peep the vid below!

After contributing their new song "Exile Vilify" to the video game Portal 2, The National have joined forces with the game's maker, Valve, in order to hold a video contest for the song. The winner has now been announced. The winning clip comes courtesy of director C.F. Meister, who offered his very own visual interpretation of the song since sad sock puppet takes over the lead role. New Track: Charlie Peters - Searching For James River [Soul/Jazz]

This is pretty dope. Charlie Peters, a spoken word artist, inspired by D’Angelo has created a new piece of work called ‘Searching for James River’. The piece samples an old D’Angelo interview and sees Peters responding “to countless conversations Soul music fans have about music, art, legends and demons”. With beautiful production from George ‘G.P’ Pettus, ‘Searching’ ticks all the right boxes.
